Member representing Owode/Onire State Constituency in Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon Ambali Ibrahim is facing a process of being sacked, if threats by the Constituents are anything to go by.
The move to recall him from the State Assembly was a decision reached on Sunday at a meeting held by his Constituents where he was accused of dereliction of legislative duties and poor representation.
Tagged, “crucial” meeting, Constituents have resolved to commence immediate process of recall of Hon. Ambali.
In the communique which was issued and signed by Hon. Ajidagba and 10 Constituents on behalf of others and obtained by CAPITAL POST outlined sins of the lawmaker.
They maintained that while other Constituents have dividends of democracy provided by their representatives in the last two years, the opposite was the case in Owode/Onire of.Kwara State.
“Since his inauguration in June 2019, we have been keen watchers of his conducts and performances which are rather characterized by the pursuit of personal gains; insensitivity to Constituents’ plight; lack of consultation, and poor communication with constituents.”

They called on other Constituents to support the cause of removing Hon. Ambali from the State House of Assembly insisting that the process has commenced.
According to them, the State governor, Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq would continue to enjoy their support for his efforts across the economy of Kwara State.
In his reaction to the recall moves, Hon. Ambali expressed doubt, if those working for his recall are from his Constituency, saying that his Constituents are happy with his works.
“Did they say they are from Owode/Onire because those that elected me are very happy with my performance since my assumption of office?
“As the chairman of the House Committee on Budget, I am still in the office as I am talking to you now Sunday night working on the budget proposal sent by the Governor.
He said he wouldn’t be distracted by anything as 2023 general election approaches.
