Minister collapse after being sacked, rushed to hospital

The former Minister of Power, Alhaji Saleh Mamman reportedly collapse when he was told that he has been sacked by President Muhammadu Bihari administration and was immediately rushed to the hospital for medical attention.

News of his collapse was immediately made secret, but sources close to him began to divulge information few hours after the incident.

The ex-Minister, Mamman served in Power from 2019 till on Wednesday this week when President Buhari’s minor cabinet reshuffle swept him out of office.

Reasons Saleh Mamman was sacked alongside the Minister of Agriculture was not revealed in a press release by the Senior Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity Mr. Femi Adesina.

Meanwhile, a source close to Mamman’s family said he was immediately taken to the hospital for medical attention.

“He wasn’t expecting to be fired so soon.”

The 63 year old Mamman, an indigene of Taraba State was nursing a gubernatorial ambition in 2023 on the platform of All Progressives Congress.
