Gov. Bello mourns Justice Bello (rtd)
Kogi sate Governor has mourned the demise of former President of the Customary Court of Appeal, Abuja, Rtd. Justice Moses Bello who died at the age of 68 years after a brief illness.
Governor Bello whose commiseration message was signed on Thursday by his Chief Press Secretary, Muhammed Onogwu described the late legal icon as a good ambassador of the State and a man who served humanity in his lifetime.
He noted that his demise was a great loss not just to the Ebira land and Kogi State but Nigeria at large because the legal luminary brought great and positive repute to the nation, while in active service in the legal profession and heading the CCA for a historic 25 years.
Governor Bello asserted that the late justice was a man of courage who during his time at the helm of CCA delivered his judgements without fear or favour as he upheld the arm of justice by being a renowned upright judge.
He noted that late Justice Bello’s legacies would always be remembered and his track records made reference to, noting that his demise came at such a time when his counsel would have been much needed but solace was received in his life well spent.
Governor Bello extended his condolences to the family of the deceased as well as associates while he prayed for God to grant those greatly hurt the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
