Kebbi governor approves N3 million for State NUJ for national congress

Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State has approved the sum of Three Million Naira (N3,000,000) to State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists, to enable it attend 2021 NUJ National Congress, scheduled to hold in Abia State, on 4th of October, 2021.

This is contained in a statement signed by Permanent Secretary Cabinet and Political Affairs Department, Alhaji Dahiru Zaki, on Monday.

According to the statement, the gesture was aimed at enabling the state council to comfortably transport and accommodate its members to the upcoming Union’s Congress.

The statement further stated that, the Governor wishes the union a successful conduct of the election and safe journey.
