Following the Federal High Court ruling in Kebbi State that vacated the suspension of PDP National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, PDP Restoration has advised the Ag National Chairman, Chief (Elder) Yemi Akinwomi to respect the current judgement which supercedes the earlier one by a FHC in PortHarcout.

The body in a statement issued in reaction to the Kebbi High Court judgement by Adamu Ahmadu averred that since the current Ag National Chairman is a product of judicial pronouncement, he should not hesitate to vacate the office forthwith, pending the determination of the substantive suit.

Elder Yemi Akinwomi was appointed to lead the PDP as the deputy National Chairman (South), pending the resolution of the crises within the party that was subject to court pronouncement.

PDP Restoration warned on the consequences of dissidents within the party insitgating Elder Yemi Akinwomi to remain in office, inspite of the Court decision in Kebbi, saying the party is found and also known to be law abiding.

Ahmadu maintained that anything short of leaving the office for the return of the National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus will create a serious constitutional crises and political logjam within the party.

He commended the party members for embracing judicial interpretation to resolve the brewing crises, saying that it is the beauty of democracy evolving in Nigeria and the world over.

PDP Restoration congratulated the PDP National Chairman for weathering the storm, urging him not to be distracted by the ongoing crises, saying it is resolvable.
