Bello mourns late Mohammed Fawehinmi, says he stood for ideals of his father
Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello has described the death of late Mohammed Fawehinmi as painful, describing the late lawyer as a true advocate of social justice who stood for the ideal his late father, Gani Fawehinmi envisioned for the country.
The governor prayed for God’s comfort for the entire Fawehinmi’s family especially the aged mother of Mohammed, Mrs Ganiyat Fawehinmi at their moment of bereavement.
He described the late Mohammed Fawehinmi as a progressive and defendant of the poor and less privileged in the society while stating that the late Mohammed until his death, repeatedly identified himself with what is just, fair and equitable just like his late father.
Bello prayed that God will console the entire family of the late Chief Gani Fawehinmi and “grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”
