Family of dead ISIS terrorists of Nigeria origin in Libya back in Abuja
The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) has announced the repatriation of 22 ex-ISIS members’ families, who were killed while fighting and 79 others from Libya.
The Commission’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Abike Dabiri in a statement through the Head of Media, Public Relations and Protocol said about 101 Nigerians were repatriated from Libya and were back in Abuja on Friday.
The statement which was signed by Abdulrahman Balogun said the individuals included 22 family members of slain members of terrorist group, Islamic State, who arrived in Abuja.
While arriving Abuja they’re received by officials of Ministry of Foreign Affairs; NIDCOM; Nigeria Centre for Disease Control; National Drug Law Enforcement Agency; National Emergency Management Agency; Department of State Services; Nigeria Immigration Service and Port Health.
“The stranded Nigerians include the 22 family members of suspected former members of ISIS that were killed in Libya as well as their children.
“All evacuees came with Negative PCR test for COVID-19, and landed at exactly 10.15 pm at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport GAT wing, aboard Airforce C130.”
