Reacting through a press statement which was issued by the National Publicity Secretary, Kola Kola Ologbondiyan, the party said the judgement was in consonance with the will of the people which he also described the development as democracy in action.

The statement said: “We are fully rallying with the PDP and our governorship candidate, Valentine Ozigbo, in their quest to entrench a purposeful government in the state.”

The statement further posited that the judgement was a moral booster to PDP and the governorship candidate, Valentine Ozigbo, adding it has put paid to interlopers.

With this ruling, the PDP is confident of justice in other matters pending in court, and urges our teeming members and supporters to remain united in our determination to work with the people of Anambra to achieve their aspiration which they have vested in our party and candidate, especially as we set to commence a robust campaign in Anambra state.”

The statement urged the people of Anambra to rally round the party and its candidate to win the governorship election.
