Breaking: Boko Haram terrorists abducts Soldier, FAAN officials on Damaturu-Maiduguri road
Boko Haram insurgents have abducted a Soldier, two officials of the Federal Airports Authority (FAAN) and a liaison officer of Yobe State Government House.
They were abducted on Maiduguri-Damaturu road on Sunday.
The abductions continue unabated despite the death of the former leader, Abubakar Shekau who reportedly blew himself up when he was to be captured by the factional group Islamic State of West African Province (ISWAP).
The insurgents have often ambushed motorists maimed their victims and took others hostage.
They abducted precisely on the road linking the towns of (Mainok) and (Jakana) which is a few kilometres to Maiduguri the capital of Borno State.
The insurgents were able to reveal identity of the captives through their official identity cards.
Two of the captives the Soldier and another who claimed to be the Yobe State Liaison Officer were paraded on YouTube at an undisclosed location in the bush.
