Ex-Nasarawa Reps member tell Sule to create employment for youths

Former Member, House of Representatives Representing Lafia/Obi federal constituency, Mohammed Dan Bala Al-makura has applauded, Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa for taking proactive measure in curtailing activities of insecurity across nooks and crannies of the state.

He give the recommendation in an exclusive interview with our correspondent in his, GRA residence in Lafia.

The two term lawmaker has continued to shower commendations on, Sule’s administration in the area of economy revitalization through, Internally Generated Revenue, IGR, for the state within a shortest period in office.

“To be frank, he has done his best within this period of time and we give him kudos or I salute him for all the projects execution in the state. This has shown clearly that he is a leader.
Al-makura said.”

“He has done more in area of infrastructure, what is left now is stomach infrastructure for the less privilege ones in our society by doing so it will go along way in addressing economic challenges.

On education, health, water supply among others, Al-makura said that, Governor Sule has been to the 13 local governments recently, he saw things for himself, he knowa what he did and what needed to be done in the next 2 years.

“He has Commissioners and Advisers all over the state they supposed to inform him on what to do and how to do it for their people.

The former lawmaker also acknowledged the fact that the state is one of the least states in receiving federal allocation yet, Sule is putting in his best in transforming virtual every sector in the state.

Speaking on issues of insecurity which evolved peace and tranquility of many part of the country, the state was not excluded, Al-makura thumbs up for Sule for his up and doing to ensure the state is safe from all forms of criminal activities.

“As we all know we have a border with, Federal capital territory, Kogi, Taraba, Plateau and Benue states he done enough to avert the situation in Nasarawa state.

“If you can recalled the skirmishes in Toto Local Government Area, Sule left his office to Abuja and met with President Muhammadu Buhari; seek for security assistance immediately his request was granted and apparatus were stationed in hotspot areas and now there is relative peace.

“Nasarawa is the most peaceful state in the entire north central states. We don’t have communal crisis. We are all brothers and sisters as one family these was achieved by Sule’s frantic feat

“God will continue to bless him in this aspect of security for me I will give him 95 percent when it comes for security issues in the state he has done a lot.

Almakura describes lack of employments and redundancy as gateway to youth’a involvement in criminalities, urging government and Individuals to embark on a massive youth engagement into meaningful venture that will make them useful to themselves and the entire community.

“The facts remains that parents have fulfilled their own obligations by sending their children to school after graduation they comeback home without doing anything, it is very unfortunate and painful though private sector should participate fully in assisting government through establishing some workable company that will give employment to this teaming youths not only in Nasarawa but in the country at large.

“In the other hands government and private sectors must have synergy between them in providing jobs to our people is not everybody designed to be a government worker.

The former lawmaker called on government at all levels to use its wisdom in finding proper solution to the current unemployment saga.

He prayed that authority will open more vocational centers to train the jobless ones, learn varieties of handwork and such will reduce burden on government doing everything alone.

He appealed to Gov. Sule to make more recruitment of youth into the state youth scheme empowerment” known as, NAYES, and other area of engagements.
