Church ‘cabal’ to decide as succession crisis rocks Late T.B Joshua’s SCOAN

Contrary to news in some section of news outlets, the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) has denied that wife of the Founder, the late Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua’s wife will succeed her husband.

Stakeholders of the Church stated that
Mrs Evelyn Joshua Balogun has never been asked to take over the affairs of the church after her husband died.

There were reports that the wife of the Founder would take over the affairs of SCOAN.

T.B. Joshua died on 5th May, 2021, which was few days to his 58th birthday.

Earlier reports indicated that elders of the church took a decision to have his wife take over, but in a dramatic twist, SCOAN had denied the report

One, Dr Gary Tonge Freng, who spoke on behalf of the church, claimed no one has been appointed to lead the affairs of the church at the moment. On if there is someone in the church to take over the miracles performed by the late tele-evangelist, Freng said that the decision is a spiritual matter and not an administrative one.

“It’s not about machinery. It is about suitable people, and it’s about the move of the Holy Spirit. So there is simply no administrative answer to the question because it is not an administrative issue”,he told City People.

The decision of who will assume the role of General Overseer, according to another source will be a unanimous decision of a cabal within the church referred to as the 5 wise men.
