APC Anambra Primary: Appeal Committee submits report

The Anambra State governorship primary election appeal committee of the All Progressives Congress has on Monday submitted the report of the committee to the Secretary of the Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) Senator, James Akpanudoedehe.
The report was recieved at Buhari House, the APC National Secretariat in Abuja.
The commitee headed by the Gombe State Governor, Alhaji Inuwa Yahaya was inaugurated last week to hear petition from aggrieved governorship aspirants in the recently held primary elections.
In his address, Governor Inuwa said he is assured that justice was done to all the complaints brought to the committee.
He said “We did justice to the assignment. We heard their complaints. We went through the petitions and we have written our report based on the materials that we got which helped us to prepare our recommendations.
“All the documents are with the CECPC. I believe justice has been done. Virtually all the aggrieved aspirants attended the meeting. It was not only the contestants. Even senior stakeholders from the South-East particularly from Anambra State”, he added.
The National Secretary of the Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Sen. John James Akpanudoedehe on behalf of the Party Chairman, Mai Mala Buni while commending the committee for the job done assured that the Chairman and the caretaker committee will look critically and objectively at this report.
