Liam, Sachwell & Galahad (LSG) to host concert in recognition of World HIV/AIDS day
In recognition of World AIDS Day, December 1st 2021, Liam, Sachwell & Galahad better known as ‘LSG’ has announced it will host a musical concert in a bid to engage and spark up conversation among the youth and millennials on HIV/AIDS. LSG intends to utilize the power of the music, fashion, arts and social media to bring greater awareness to the HIV/AIDS epidemic and its disproportionate impact on people of colour and black origin.
Chatting with our reporter on this concert, CEO of LSG, Jordan Adler said the planning and execution of the event will be handled by their in house productions crew. He went further to say that prior to the concert, plans are being made to roll out a global campaign to specifically engage young men & women via social media platforms on the impact of HIV/AIDS.
Liam, Sachwell and Galahad aka “LSG” is a Financial Services, Asset Management & Portfolio Management firm, with its headquarters in the British Virgin Islands. It was founded by the trio of Liam Robert, Larry Sachwell and Goub Galahad, with the technical expertise of Barbara Hugh, Novick Frater, Schlosstein Keith, and Francis Anderson to provide institutional clients with asset management services from a risk management perspective.
Jordan stated that LSG plans to engage frontline male and female artistes & celebrities for a social media campaign using facebook, Instagram and twitter to promote awareness around the impact of the HIV/AIDS epidemic on men, women & children; and to encourage them to make an individual commitment to know their status, get tested and take control of their health and wellness. He said these artistes and celebrities will be speaking directly to their fans through advertorials and via their social media platforms to encourage sexual responsibility and keep HIV/STD prevention and treatment, and those advocacy issues that impact the rise of the epidemic, at the forefront.
According to the recent statistics by the Centers for Disease Controls (CDC), in the United States alone, African Americans accounts just for 13% of the U.S. population, but over 40% of new HIV diagnosis.
