Nigeria Police has banned all forms of protest associated with Tuesday’s Supreme Court judicial review.
IIn a statement by the PPRO of the command, Orlando Ikeokwu in Owerri, he warned loyalists of the contending parties to conduct themselves in orderly manner before, during and after the Supreme Court judgement.
According to him, “hoodlums have perfected plans to cause mayhem on good citizens of the state in the guise of protests”
Supreme Court has earlier slated Tuesday, 18th February, 2020 for judicial review ordered by the former governor,, Emeka Ihedioha of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP
.
Ihedioha was removed from office on 14th January, 2020,, while Senator Hope Uzodinma was declared winner.
