June 12: Lalong to commission projects in three Plateau Senatorial zone to commemorate Democracy day
Plateau State Governor, Barr. Simon Lalong said his administration has embarked on projects that will impact the living standards of the citizens of the State.
He said he will commission projects across the three senatorial zone of the state as part of his mid term celebration of his second term in office.
Lalong who spoke through his Commissioner of Information and Communication in the State, Hon. Daniel Manjang while briefing Journalists on Sunday at the old Government House, Jos, said he will start the commissioning, and flag-off projects on the 9th June, 2021 at the Southern Zone of the state and round up on June 12 at the Northern Zone.
Lalong disclose that the Nigeria Union of Journalists Secretariat being remodel by the his Rescue administration will also be commissioned.
He said all the projects across the three Senatorial zone of the state would have direct impact on the citizens.
“The second Rescue Mission Projects across the state would have direct impact on the citizens, because Governor Lalong rescue leadership focuses purely on providing security and improving living standards of the citizens of the state”.
Manjang who was accompanied by the Director of Press and Public Affairs to Governor Lalong, Dr. Makut Simon Macham said there will special Muslim prayer on Friday June 11, Special golf kitty as well as town Hall meeting to mark the June 12 Democracy Day.
