Nigeria the most populous black nation on earth with over two hundred million pestimated with about two hundred and fifty ethnic groups across the nation, having vast resources in both human and natural.

A nation rich in cultural diversity having over 500 languages with major tribes as Hausa 27.4% of the population, Yoruba 21% and Igbo 14.1% .

Change of Name

With these unparralled wealth of resources in the nation, one would expect a near if not a perfect state of a nation void of both past and present challenges that have proven unsummoutable in recent times ranging from insurgencies, terrorism, killings, corruption, bad governance, hunger and poverty, ethnic divisions, etc.

According to Owelle Rochas Okorocha, the lawmaker representing Imo West on APC, he would continue to champion his belief and ideology that Nigeria is a country waiting to explode economically if properly harnessed rightly by the leadership of the nation.

Rochas who believes in his very ideological concept of the State of the nation would always support that there is nothing wrong with the head of State but there is something wrong with the state of the head, this he will explain as a nation lacking the required vision and passion to turn the country around.

A country with such great wealth of potential energy awaits the right leadership to turn Nigeria to become, another enviable and strong nation among the communities of the nations of the world.

Though not ignorant of the fact that nations could be buffeted with their own peculiar issues and challenges, but the place of good leadership is a principal and universal principle that cannot be overemphasized for growth and development of a nation.

A nation with leaders who are visionary and passionate about their vision for a greater nation would always turn the table around, this is one belief and strong ideologies of Rochas, like he will put it: “there is nothing wrong with our country but something wrong in our coutry; there is nothing wrong with the head of State of our country, but there is something wrong with the state of the head of our country and there’s need for us to correct that which is wrong with the head, and it takes leadership to put things and get things right in our nation.”
