Nasarawa House of Assembly member, Danbaba abducted

Unknown gunmen on Saturday abducted a member representing Nasarawa Central Constituency in the House of Assembly, Hon. Ismail Danbaba.

The lawmaker was said to have been travelling to Jos when he was trailed and kidnapped.

A colleague of the kidnapped lawmaker and Chairman House Committee on Information, Hon. Mohammed Omadefu on Sunday confirmed to newsmen in Lafia that Hon. Danbaba was kidnapped in the forest of Sanga Local Government Council of Kaduna State.

In less than 24 hours he was kidnapped, Danbaba’s abductors have made contact with the State Assembly confirming that he was in their custody.
