Buhari appoints new Chief of Army Staff
President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday appointed Major General Farouk Yahaya to replace Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru as the new Chief of Army Staff.
The new appointment of the Chief of Army Staff was contained in a statement signed by Acting Director of Defence Information, Brig. General Onyema Nwachukwu.
