Kogi based journalist, Okanyi Enemali has revealed how kidnappers are looking for political office holders to be abducted for bigger ransom.
Explaining what he discussed on his Facebook page, the Kidnappers told him clearly that if they can’t get politicians and top government executive who have resources to pay them as ransom, they go for lesser people in the dociety.
“Few days ago, my younger brother, Samson Okpanachi Ademu, his boss Mr. Aaron Haruna and their Driver, Mr. Suleiman were in the hands of their captors, demanding for ransom from me.
“We got talking, the guy on the other side of the phone told me, my friend, it’s not the likes of your brother we want.
“We are looking for high profile politicians and government officials, but because we could not reach them, we will make do with the likes of your brother with us; just get us our money and he is free.”
