CEO of Tall Glass Of Jewels, Jeral ‘JD’ Davis, has shared their plans to kick off a yearly internship and mentoring program this year. Tall Glass Of Jewels is a lifestyle, Music, entertainment and motivational news company, whose main objective is giving its followers current news about music, movies, artistes, and entertainment with a positive spin in general.

Founded by Jeral Davis better know as ‘JD’ in 2019, ‘Tall Glass Of Jewels’ is a popular motivational urban blog that has captured the attention of millions in the US and worldwide. It took off when JD retired from competitive sports.
“I wanted to do something positive that would impact the online community. I had no prior experience with blogging, but after I received positive responses to my posts, I knew I could do it, besides I have always had a nose for news and information that would help anyone move ahead or progress in life” Jeral said. “So, I took the never give up spirit i built as a professional athlete and paired it with the business acumen I gained along the way and started my own blog” Davis stated.

Change of Name

Starting July 2021 the blog will begin offering internships to high school and college students only, with the possibility of employment upon graduation. The program is designed to position young men and women who are interested in becoming bloggers or business owners one day. Helping them acquire insight into running their own blog by giving them a first hand knowledge on the inner workings of a typical blog.

Jeral Davis, the CEO & founder of ‘Tall Glass Of Jewels’, said the program, was initially scheduled to start in July 2020, but was delayed and put on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic lockdown. He said that internships and mentorship often require mentees and interns to shadow their mentors so is more practical to do it in person rather than remotely online. “Given the state of rising infections and hospitalizations caused by the pandemic it would be morally wrong to kick off the program back in 2020 without proper safety protocols in place” he said. He went further to say that they considered doing the program remotely online, but felt it would defeat main purpose of the program.

The program will be free for individuals in both high school and undergraduate college irrespective of their age, orientation or location.
