Former NOA DG, Mike Omeri felicitates with Muslims
Former Director General of National Orientation Agency NOA, Dr. Mike Omeri has congratulated Muslim ummah for completion of Ramadan fasting and Sallah celebration.
He commended them for adhering to fasting rules with Islamic values throughout the 29 days of sacrifices in this month of Ramadan.
“As Muslims all over the world are celebrating this holy period as one of the 5 cardinal of Islam, you have engaged yourself in spiritual activities with a way that complied with teaching and practice of your faith.
“As we all know the month of Ramadan is the month the Holy Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad where charity, alms is encouraged to give out to the needy and less privilege ones in the society.
Dr. Omeri urged Muslim faithful to continue to extend lesson they learn during the Ramadan with sustained prayers, hospitality, oneness and togetherness for the unity and peace of our dear state and the country at large.
The former NOA Boss equally call on Muslims in Nasarawa South Senatorial District to use this occasion by committing insecurity bedevilling the zone and the State in the hands of God for the return of peace and harmony not only in Southern district, but the entire State.
It could be recalled that, Dr. Mike Omeri has donated copies of the Holy Quran to Muslims through the State through the Chairman traditional council of chiefs and Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Mohammed Bage 1 for onward distribution to other emir and chiefs as well as Islam followers in Southern District.
“I want you to use this Holy books in your fervent prayers for Allah to salvage us from all forms of disunity and disharmony.
