Breaking: Imo governor Uzodinma dissolves cabinet
Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma on Wednesday dissolved his cabinet after spending one year in office.
The governor on Wednesday held the State Executive Council meeting despite Federal Government’s declaration of Wednesday and Thursday as public holiday to mark the end of Ramadan.
The dissolution was announced after the meeting on Wednesday in Owerri, Imo State capital.
The Commissioner for Information and Strategy Declan Emelumba who announced to journalists said, the governor would rejig his cabinet in line with his vision for Imo State.
He revealed that 28 Commissionera were relieved of their appointments while 8 of the Commissioners were left to carry on with their activities.
Those left are Health, Information, Tourism, Women Affairs, Works, Finance, Youths and the Ministry of Technology.
