Nigeria Immigration Service begins employment exercise
The Nigeria Immigration Service has commenced recruitment exercise which has since been put on hold.
The announcement for the employment exercise was contained in a press statement on Monday, by the Civil Defense, Correctional Fire, and Immigration Services Board.
The statement which was signed by the Director/Secretary of the CDCFIB, Aisha Rufai, and obtained by CAPITAL POST stated that, out of all the 45,323 persons that sat for the Computer-Based Test, 6,105 persons have been shortlisted by the board to attend the final screening and certification of their physical fitness.
It added that those who were shortlisted would be texted before the end of Monday.
Those who earlier applied are advised to check the official website of the NIS for their names and screening details: exam location and guidelines for the recruitment exercise.
Applicants are advised to print out their invitation slips which will be used to admit them into the screening venue and prepare for screening which comes up on May 24, 2021.
The screening exercise, according to the statement attracts no charges.
Applicants are further advised to lay complaint to the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Crimes Commission or the NIS website of any demand for charges by any officer or non immigration officers.
Those whose names didn’t appear on the website are advised to stay away from the screening venue.
