Soldiers arrest 10 Boko Haram terrorists after mosque raid in Kano
About 10 suspected Boko Haram terrorists were arrested in a mosque located at Filin Lazio, Hotoro mosque in Kano by the Nigerian military on Saturday.
They were arrested while breaking fast with others which reports said, didn’t draw the anger of other Muslims because of the way the covert operation was carried out.
It was gathered that the mosque where Boko Haram terrorists were breaking their fast belong to Borno indigenes who relocated to Kano due to insurgency there.
In a mop up, soldiers took away some unidentified items from the surroundings of the mosque.
However, when contacted, Captain Uba, Army spokesperson in Kano, said he had not been briefed on the development, and promised to get back to journalists at the right time.
