Borno Commissioner commends Lawmaker for constructing stadium

Borno State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Hajia Zuwaira Gambo commends the member representing Kwaya Kusar Federal Constituency and Chairman, House Committee on appropriation, Rt Honourable Muktari Aliyu Betara on his facilitation and construction of a mini stadium in the area.

The Borno Commissioner bare her mind during a familiarization visit to the construction site, saying the gesture will encourage various sporting activities not only in the federal Constituency, but the entire Borno State.

She says aside development of extra curricular activities, it will also encourage the youths to pick a profession in various sporting activities that will transform the state and Nigeria.

‘Such positive synergy to complement the efforts of the state and federal government will go along away to bring about peace, unity, progress and development to the area and Borno State at large.’ The Commissioner said.

She appealed to elected representatives to support the efforts of the state government under the Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, in his efforts to develop all facets of human emancipation in the state.

Honourable Zuwaira Gambo congratulated the people of the area, while urging them to protect the facilities provided from the vandals, so as to ensure maximum utilisation.
