Wife of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Oluremi Tinubu has assured Nigerians that President Muhammadu Buhari will perform.
She stressed that Buhari will give no excuses, assuring Nigerians of their safety in this administration.
Mrs Tinubu who made the remark at a Special Ramadan Prayer Tafsir held at the Lagos State Government House amid growing security perils in the country, insisted that what Nigerians are passing through would soon be a thing of the past.
“We know when it started but we don’t want to give excuses. This government will perform, Nigerians will feel safe and be happy.
“There is the twist and tone in democracy. We just have to build, tolerate each other and express love and harmony.”
Distraught Nigerians have been calling for Buhari’s resignation from office over insecurity, but, Mrs Tinubu was seeing the situation differently, while expressing optimism that the challenges faced by Nigerians will come to pass.
