Suspected hoodlums set Uzodinma’s house on fire
Suspected hoodlums on Saturday morning set on fire residential house of governor Hope Uzodinma.
Hoodlums numbering over 20 who were dressed in black and white attire set his house ablaze attire his hometown in Omuma, Oru East Local Government Area of Imo State.
Sympathisers immediately mobilised themselves to the residence to extinguish the fire, but was late as billows of smoke couldn’t allow their attempt to put off the fire.
It was reported that fire fighters were unavailable, while some stationery
official vehicles were on flame while a lifeless body was lying in front of the governor’s house.
On Friday, governor Hope Uzodimma visited President Muhammadu Buhari where he briefed him on arrest of some attackers of Imo State Correctional Serve building and the State Police Command.
According to the governor, some criminals in connection with the attack have been arrested.
