Nigeria records 232 coronavirus late Sunday night – NCDC
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), an official agency of government on Sunday night has confirmed eight new cases of coronavirus.
The new cases has grown the number of coronavirus patients totalling 232.
The centre said on its Twitter handle that five of the cases were in Lagos, two in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and one in Kaduna State.
It said: “Eight new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 5 in Lagos, 2 in the FCT and 1 in Kaduna State. As of 09:30 p.m. on 5th April, there are 232 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. 33 have been discharged with five deaths.”
