According to Ibrahim, the accident claimed the lives of his father, his brother’s son Jafar Haruna, and his driver on Friday night, after the crash in a hospital in Keffi.
Also a Media Consultant to Reps Member, Mr Joseph A. Adudu in a Press Statement signed and issued on Saturday morning to Journalists in Jos announced the death of Hon. Haruna Maitala.
“This is to announce the death of Honourable Haruna Maitala which occurred yesterday, 2nd April, 2021 as a result of fatal car accident on his way to Jos from Abuja.
“Until his death, Haruna Maitala was the member representing Jos North/Bassa federal constituency in the National Assembly.
The statement disclosed that the Reps Member would be buried Saturday morning according to Islamic rites.
