Ex-CBN governor, Soludo’s Police attachee killed

The former Central Bank governor and governorship aspirant in Anambra State, Charles Chukwuma Soludo escaped gunmen attack by the whiskers on Wednesday.

Three Police officers attached to him were reportedly killed at an interactive session between Isuofia youth and himself.

One Police officer was also kidnapped with rifles of those killed carted away.

Source said, the interactive session which started peacefully was disrupted by the gunmen.

A source narrated: “A couple of minutes ago, unknown gunmen disrupted the interactive session between Isuofia youth and Prof Chukwuma Soludo.

“In the process, three policemen were killed and one kidnapped, their rifles were also carted away.

“There is a serious stampede in the town centre right now.

Soludo, a foremost economist is contesting governorship on the platform of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) ahead of November 6th 2021 Anambra governorship election.
