Abducted RCCG members: Shehu Sani warns Pastors, Imams
Following the tragic abduction of members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) on Kachia road, Kaduna, Civil Rights activist, Senator Shehu Sani has warned Pastors and Imams to be wary of the season.
Condemning the abduction on Friday, on his verified Twitter handle, the former Senator who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial district lamented that Kaduna State has been turned into a hub of abductions, given the sequence of the ugly trend.
He said, though the Easter and Ramadan seasons are here, Pastors and Imams should suspend their activities for now.
He wrote:
“The report of the kidnapping of RCCG members along Kachia road in Kaduna is yet another tragedy.
“Bandits have turned our State into their hub; before one kidnap is resolved, another one is unfolding.
“Humans have become preys. On entry, you meet their snare, on exit you meet their ambush.
“To the Imams in our own part of the country who wants to move to the villages to preach during Ramadan; to the Pastors who wants to move to the rural areas to minister during Easter, suspend action; bandits are Godless.
CAPITAL POST earlier reported that eight members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God on Friday were waylaid and kidnapped on Kachia road, Kaduna while travelling on a bus to a ‘Let’s go a fishing’, an annual evangelism of the RCCG.
