Zamfara bandits motorcycles supplier arrested in Kano
A man believed to have been supplying bikes to armed bandits has been nabbed by the Kano State Police command.
The contactor who’s name was not disclosed by the Police as at the time of this report, however, confessed to have been bikes supplier to armed bandits, saying he has supplied over a hundred bikes to the criminals.
The confession which was obtained by the Police indicated that he supplied each bike at the cost of N600,000 each.
More so, a resident who identified himself as Abdulbaki Jari took to his Twitter account to confirm that Kano State police command arrested a man who supply bikes to bandits.
He further revealed that the man doesn’t sell to bandits alone, but other groups.
He wrote:
“Kano police command has arrested alleged supplier of bikes to bandits in Zamfara state. The man has ‘confessed’ to selling each bike at the cost of N600k & has sold over 100 to various groups, Police PRO says.”
“The Kano State Police Command has done a good job by arresting the man who supplied bikes to terrorists group.
“An investigation should be carried out immediately by the police, and the man might be of great help in locating these bandits since he transacts with them.”
CAPITAL POST reports that Zamfara State in the North West Nigeria has been under siege by bandits with school students being kidnapped at all times.
