Uzondinma appoints 27 interim Management Committee for Council Areas

Senator Hope Uzondinma of Imo State has approved the appointment of Local Government Interim Management Committee for the 27 Council Areas in Imo State.
The governor said, the appointment takes immediate effect and it lasts till local government election to Local Government areas is conducted.

The development was made known to journalists in Owerri on Wednesday through the office of the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Cosmas Iwu.

Imo State House of Assembly has earlier urged the governor to appoint interim Management Committee to run the Affairs of Council areas.

Uzondinma said more appointments would be made at the local government level in due course.

The names of the chairmen and their local government as listed include, Barr. Emma Njoku (Aboh Mbaise) Chief Larry Obinna Chikwe (Ahiazu Mbaise)

Chief Francis Onyeberechi  (Ezinihitte Mbaise) Barr. Chidi Okechukwu (Ehime) Mbano) Olemgbe Chike  (Ihette Uboma).
