NCPC boss receives Excellence in Leadership Award
The Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission, Rev. Yakubu Pam has been honoured with an “Excellence in Leadership Award”, by the National Leadership of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN.
The award was presented to him in his office, in Abuja on 5th March, 2021 by Rev. Stephen Dangana on behalf of the National Leadership of PFN.
Speaking during the award presentation, the NCPC boss described PFN as “one credible and fastest growing movement in Nigeria”.
He commended the credible transition process in PFN that has become a culture worthy of emulation by other religious bodies. He reiterated that transitions in PFN usually take place without issues.
Rev. Pam thanked the leadership of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria for finding him worthy of the award. In his words, “I’m deeply touched, I appreciate this more than anything”. He added, “I am so touched, I feel loved”.
He congratulated the newly elected President of PFN, Bishop Wale Oke and also commended the quality leadership of the immediate past President of PFN, Rev. Felix Omobude.
Earlier, Rev. Stephen Dangana affirmed that the award was in appreciation of Rev. Pam’s sacrifice and dedication to the faith.
He explained that the National leadership of PFN considered it important to recognize individuals who had distinguished themselves and committed to the work of PFN.
Rev. Pam further used the platform to stress the need to promote unity in the Church.
The award presentation was witnessed by Rev. Lawrence Ekwork, the Chairman of PFN Cross River State, Pastor Joseph Rhema, the Director of Administration NCPC, Rev. Barnabas Ali as well as the Director of Operations NCPC, Rev. Amos Yohanna.
