Matawalle sympathises with parents of abducted Jangebe Schoolgirls, order closure of boarding schools
Governor MatawallGovernor Bello Mohammed (Matawallen Maradun) has expressed his administration’s sadness over the unfortunate and condemnable abduction of school children of Government GGSS Jangebe in the early hours of today and orders for the closure of all boarding schools in the state.
The Governor, who was full of sympathy promised to continue with his efforts at finding a lasting solution to the problem of security in the state.
Governor Matawalle said that all the security machinery in the state is in extensive search of the abductees and assured they will be found and returned to their families. Governor Matawalle said that all the security operatives have been mobilized with additional re-enforcement from the Federal Government including two Police helicopters.
“While sympathizing with the families of the victims, as a father, I cannot but feel the personal pain of this sordid act of criminality’ Matawalle added.
Governor Matawalle re-assured those who have confidence in his peace accord not to lose faith in the peace accord of his administration and assured that the combination of kinetic and non-kinetic approach to peace is the only workable solution to our current problem in spite of the hiccups experienced from time to time.
‘Incidence such as this one is perpetrated by those who are not ready to embrace our peace accord. These are the same groups being engaged by our Military on daily basis. We want to assure the general public that eventually they will be the losers’, Matawalle assured.
