Shasha market attack: Traders Association sympathises with victims
The National President of Traders and Marketers Association, Alhaji Ibrahim Muhammed has sympathised with members who lost their properties as a result of Shasha market attack in Ibadan, Oyo State.
He stated this at the official commissioning of the head office of the association in Lafia, Nasarawa State.
Muhammed who described the incident as very unfortunate added that under his watch, plan are underway to assist the affected members with a view to cushion the effect of the crisis.
The National President of called on Nasarawa State leaders of the association under the leadership of, Alhaji Turaki Gamji to discharge their responsibilities with the fear of, Allah.
“Let me urge you to operate an open door policy, inclusiveness, accountability and above all, you should be guided by the constitution of the association. He advised state leadership.
Speaking to our correspondent, state Chairman of TMA, Alhaji Turaki Gamji thanked the National President, Muhammed for his fartherly role in uniting members at all times.
He promised to carry every members along for the purpose of growth and development of the association.
Gamji appealed to members for their support and cooperation to enable them succeed in the task ahead of them.
Those who grace the occasion include royal fathers from Southern part of the State, Sarkin Kwandare, Alhaji Ahmadu Al-makura, State APC Secretary, Hon. Aliyu Bello, Sarkin Fawa, Dan Agwani Ibrahim among other dignitaries.
CAPITAL POST reports that presentation of awards and certificates to some prominent persons in recognition of their contributions to the association also took place
