Okorocha’s orderly in pool of blood after gunshot [photo]

An orderly to Senator Rochas Okorocha on Sunday was shot on the head by thugs loyal to the governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma.

Thugs reportedly held Okorocha, his inlaw, Uche Nwosu, and other supporters hostage where he went to unseal the Spring Palm Apartments and hotels belonging to his wife, Nkechi.

After the unsealing, thugs mobilised themselves and swooped on the former governor and his loyalists, while in the ensuing encounter, there were injuries and cars damaged.

CAPITAL POST learnt that, Hope Uzodinma’s Special Adviser on Special Duties, Chinasa Nwaneri alongside his Youths Affairs counterpart, Eric Uwakwe mobilised thugs in their numbers to the sealed apartments.

Okorocha who has already been detained by the Police was said to have stormed the estate at the early hours of Sunday and forced the gate open.

Efforts to reach the Imo police public relations office, Orlando proved abortive as his number refused to go as at the time of filing this report.
