CAPITAL POST reports on Friday that tension grips Lagos as Lekkiprotesters are set to resume protest on Saturday.

However, a group vowed to resist to resist protesters through a statatement issued on Friday, thereby created a looming atmosphere of chaos.

Meanwhile, Police authority has advised Nigerian youths planning for Saturday’s demonstration at Lekki to
shelve the idea, saying the authority will not tolerate the breaking down of law and other.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, CSP Muyiwa Adejobi, said: “the police and the State government had made their stance against the protest known that it should be stopped.”

Demonstrators operating under the aegis of #EndSARS Season 2, vowed to defy the government’s order, noting that they would be at Lekki following the decision of the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry allowing the Lekki Concession Company to reopen the Lekki tollgate.

Last year, there was massive EndSARs protest across the country with the protest at Lekki Tollgate in Lagos hit with major crisis.
