Why governor Obiano has not been seen – Prof. Solo

The Secretary to Anambra State government, Prof. Solo Chukwulobelu and the Chief of staff to Governor Willie Obiano said, the governor has been on self isolation for eleven days now.

Speaking at a press briefing on Monday at Awka, Anambra State capital the government scribe said there was no reason for tension over the governor’s health.

There has been tension in Anambra State over suspicion that the governor might have contacted COVID-19.

They explained that Willie Obiano decided to stay away because he sat next to the governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed who was confirmed infected at the last National Executive Council NEC meeting in Abuja.

However, they said there was no cause for alarm as the Governor had not developed any form of symptom since then, adding,he is hale and hearty.

The NCDC recommends 14 days self isolation for any possible sign of the Disease.
