Kogi Patriotic Group, KPG has carpeted Secretary to the State government, Dr Folashade Arike Ayoade for allowing herself to be used by the administration in Kogi state, rather than offering out wise couns that will move the State forward.
The group’s head of Media and Publicity, Abdullahi Mallam in a statement he.sent to CAPITAL POST on Friday, said the SSG had been at the forefront of needless spendings for a State that cannot provide the least social services to the people.
The group says drawing a battle line between a Federal government agency charged with combating the globally recognised ailment of COVID-19, is needless and unbecoming of State with good and robust advisers.
He says the PTF is carrying out its assignment based on available statistics, data and information and not mere heresay, like the SSG and the State government are acting on.
This development was similar to the same format adopted by the State government to silence hapless and shortchanged Kogi workers, through needless Newspaper advertisement covering over 40 pages.
“This waste of scarce government resources in Kogi state, must stop henceforth, if the SSG as the administrative head of the goverrment cannot advise properly.’
“The present administration has turned Kogi State to a laughing stock in the comity of states, not for anything good, but rolling out kindergarten decision against the people of the State.
“This is the state where the governor has abandoned governance to inordinate ambition, even when ban on political campaigns is still in force.
“A state where there is decadence in all social services including hospitals, good roads, light and drinkable water, yet tax payers monies are been wasted on non priority advertisement to counter the PTF position.
‘A state where many people are dying of hunger, strange related disease with no response from other arms of government, fell short of the SSG,as an academic in the corridor of power to fall prey of this anti people decision of kogi state government’
“This is the same State where State sponsored thugs locked down Federal Medical Centre for months, after attack on the staff and patients, yet the SSG deem it fit to endorse an advertisement against the Federal government agency.
“It is baffling to see what is happening in Kogi State today, while other states are battling to attract Federal presence, ours is being destroyed by the unreasonable leaders that does not take advice.
The group wondered whether the Kogi SSG is really a product of an ivory tower, saying her actions and decisions fell short of expectations of an occupant of such a revered office of the SSG Kogi state.
