A top civil servant working in Kogi State ministry of Agriculture, but who’s duty post is at Anyigba praised the State for the stay at home order, but lamented that their salary was yet to be paid.
He is further frightened by the Commissioner of Finance’s alarm last week, that there was reduction in the Federal allocation to the State from Abuja due to coronavirus pandemic ravaging the world.
“I have some friends in other states who have been paid, but in Kogi, we haven’t.
“Last week, the State Commissioner for Finance was on air saying that there was reduction in the Federal allocation, but I hope something would be done to pay workers anyway.
