Adamawa Police command investigates ‘nude party”
Following speculations that nude party was being organised to be held in an undisclosed place in Adamawa coming Sunday, 10th January, 2021, the State Police command has commenced investigation.
CAPITAL POST learnt on good authority that arrangements were in the works for a nude beach party.
The nude beach party had been speculated across social media networks, but, the Police has stepped into the matter to stop it.
The advertisement for the Yola nude beach party has been in circulation for few weeks with charges going as N2,000 gate fee per participant before one is allowed to enter.
Confirming the development, the police spokesman in Adamawa, DSP Suleiman Yahya Nguroje, said the Commissioner of police had ordered for a full investigation into the matter.
He said the outcome of the investigation would be made public while asking journalists to be patient to enable Police do their work.
He said anyone found involved will be arrested and possibly prosecuted, saying, “the command will not condone any show or event that will cause outrage.
“The CP has ordered an investigation to unravel the sponsors and venue of the said beach party. The command will not allow any immoral act that could cause outrage in the society,” he said.
In Kaduna State there was an alledged plan for nude party before the Police foiled and arrested the organisers who were paraded before the press.
The State governor, Nasir El-Rufai ordered the demolition of the venue which has become a subject of controversy as the female proprietor of the restaurant denied of any arrangements for a nude party there.
